CRL's newest hardware system of Friction Fit Spigots underwent three tests, all using 1500 mm wide glass panels. The trusted N.S.W.-based engineering and testing facility, Azuma Design assessed the Friction Fit Spigots with SL30 Round Rail Caps at 1000 mm high for balustrades, with SLS30 Square Rail Caps at 1000 mm high for balustrades, and at 1200 mm high for pool fences.

Precisely engineered CRL Friction Fit Spigots outperform competitors' spigots as they are durable and require no special glass fabrication. Most spigot systems operate by securing glass panels through drilled holes that the spigots are fastened through. However, CRL's square and round Friction Fit Spigots feature special engineered plates that hold up 12 mm thick, toughened glass with no bolts or holes.
